Bob Krug, 92, of Casper, died peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions. He and his wife, Ann, had made their home at Primrose Retirement Community of Casper for the last few years.

Bob Krug was born March 5, 1927 to Edward S. Krug and Dorothy Hoy in Pennsylvania. His mother remarried when he and his sister, Patricia, were very young to Charles M Clark of ME. His family moved to Bakersfield, CA where he graduated from Bakersfield High School and attended the junior college where he met his first wife. Bob married Charlotte Alice Daly in 1948 and they shared 51 years of marriage until her death in 1999.

In 1956 Bob, Charlotte, and their 3 young children moved to Casper where he was a salesman for Axelson Oil Company. He continued his career as a salesman until he retired in 1995. Although he traveled a lot, he rarely missed a baseball game, a wrestling match, a school activity, or a recital. He loved to sit on the front porch and watch Bruce, Alice and Cheryl play with their neighborhood friends. Bob loved fishing and hunting and relaxing at the family cabin on Casper Mountain with his grandchildren. He and Charlotte enjoyed playing cards and entertaining their friends. Bob was a Mason and belonged to the Shrine Club.

Bob married Ann (Tagliavore) in 2004 and they have enjoyed traveling and playing cards with their friends. He was an avid reader. Bob was active in his church, the Unitarian Universalist Community of Casper.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ann, and her daughter, Angelina (Dan) Crowell of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by three children: Alice (Ted) Heidrich of New Underwood, SD, Bruce (Melanie) Krug of Gillette, WY and Cheryl (Scott) Jones of Casper, WY. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, sister, and first wife, Charlotte Krug.

The family requests any donations go to Casper Wyoming Hospice.
