UUs enjoy the outdoors and value community connections, and here is an opportunity for both! The Izaak Walton League invites everyone to join them for hikes at 6 pm on odd-Wednesdays throughout the summer. Be sure to bring drinking water, snacks, good walking shoes or boots, and a jacket. A walking stick or hiking poles can be helpful. Hikes are open to all ages and dogs are welcome if they are on a leash. Call or text Jennie at 251-3739 or Dan at 251-3741 if you have any questions.

LOCATION UPDATE: Wednesday, September 16 at 6 pm, We will meet at the parking at the Biathlon Course which is 1.5 miles out East End Road on the left (north) side of the road.  If you come to the Crimson Dawn Sign, you have gone too far.  This hike is a little under 2 miles but we do some climbing to get to a nice overlook.  This is not the hike on the schedule but the days are getting too short to do one of the loops on the state land on Coates Road.
