A message from Ken Chestek, Chair of Wyoming Promise:
“The effort to get the Free and Fair Elections initiative on the ballot in Wyoming is beginning to take off statewide. Already, county teams are circulating petitions in about 10 Wyoming counties, and we can feel the momentum building!
Natrona County is a key county in this effort. While several people are now circulating petitions in Natrona County, we need to expand our efforts here in order to meet our goal of 8,500 signatures by February, 2018. Therefore, we have scheduled an organizational meeting for key Natrona County volunteers for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Casper, 1040 W. 15th St., Casper. The agenda will include a discussion of ways to recruit more circulators, events to attend to collect signatures, data management, tips for circulating petitions, and organizing a Natrona County leadership team.
I will be attending to lead these discussions and to give you updates on the efforts around the state so far, including information about some organization methods that are producing great results in several counties already.”
