The UU Casper Social Justice Group is sponsoring a booth at the Casper Pride Picnic at Crossroad Park, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. We’ll have information about UU Casper and the SJ Group, and fun projects for kids. Volunteers are needed! At the Casper Pride Picnic booth, we’ll be partnering with:
- Educational Opportunity Center, 125 College Drive UU#440, which provides free assistance to people wanting to enter or continue post-secondary education at any school, which includes help with FAFSA, scholarship and other financial aid, college applications, etc. For more information, contact EOC Coordinator Janie Edgens, 307-268-3030, jedgens1@uwyo.edu.
- Awareness/Petition Drive to restore fund cuts and increase funding for CATC and The Bus – the SJ Group is supporting this effort sponsored by Mary Price, CATC, and Wyoming Independent Living. For more information, email info@uucasper.org.
