During July we will be reading “Bone Wars: The Excavation and Celebrity of Andrew Carnegie’s Dinosaur,” by Wyoming resident Tom Rea. According to the Jackson Hole News, the book “Includes not only the highly competitive world of the still-new science of paleontology in Wyoming and around the world, but Wyoming history and politics, Western railroading, Carnegie and his part in the steel business, the growth of Carnegie’s adopted home city of Pittsburgh, and Antarctic exploration. It’s an unlikely mixture that Rea pulls off well.” If you would like to participate, you can pick up a copy of the book at the church. Our discussion will be the last Monday of the month, July 31st, at 6:30 p.m. Questions? Email info@uucasper.org.
