The summer solstice is the longest day of the year, the tipping point of the seasons warning of autumn’s approach & the winter ahead. It’s a time of rest after the sowing and nurturing the gardens and before the labors of harvest. This is the time to make preparations for the harvest and preserving of winter stores. We will be working with the Greek goddess of home and hearth, Hestia. We’ll be meeting her in a meditation journey and then honoring her with an at-home personal cleansing fire ritual.
