Elections are a biennial celebration of our democracy as we gather to elect leaders and decide political issues. Citizen voters struggle with choices for candidates at all levels of government, whether or not to retain judges, as well as votes on amendments and taxes (in Wyoming’s case this year). As individuals we are torn over or values, principles, interests, and other factors in making our choices. Elections are also an opportunity for us to create or rejoin the communities that help bind our society together. This service will hopefully lay down a positive context for this election year.
The Share the Plate recipient for October, November, and December is Iris Clubhouse. We collect Share the Plate donations on the first Sunday of each month. However, you are free to donate anytime (please mark donations as “Share the Plate”).
