What if the silence we long for is not empty, but full of voices? In this talk, we’ll explore the hidden soundscapes of the natural world–from whale songs and bee vibrations to coral choruses, turtle calls, and fungal whispers–voices that science is only just beginning to understand. Drawing on Indigenous wisdom, neuroscience, and the art of sacred listening, we’ll reflect on how both quiet and the voices of nature can restore the human spirit–and how learning to listen to these voices may help us heal both soul and Earth.
The Share the Plate recipient for July, August, and September 2025 is Food Bank of the Rockies. We collect Share the Plate donations on the first Sunday of each month. However, you are free to donate anytime (please mark donations as “Share the Plate”).
