The October worship theme is “Remembrance.”  In November and December of 1944, the American military liberated the French people in the Vosges Mountain region of northeast France from the Germans.  The Epinal American Cemetery is the final resting place of more than 5,000 Americans who participated in the liberation.  Service leaders Janet de Vries and Leanne Woodfill attended the Memorial Day Ceremony at the cemetery in May 2023 and will share their remembrance.
