The UU Casper Board of Trustees is hosting a work session where we will review proposed amendments to changes to Article II of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s (UUA’s) By-laws. This contains the covenant we hold with all other UUA congregations regarding the 7 Principles and 6 Sources. Amendments already put forward by other congregations require approval of 15 other congregations in order to be voted on at General Assembly in June. The deadline for getting 15 congregations’ approval and turning in paperwork is Feb 1, so giving feedback ASAP is an important part of participating in our faith. The board would also like to gather feedback of members’ thoughts on Article II so please feel free to join in the work session or email the board with your thoughts at board@uucasper.org (this goes to all trustees).
