UUs enjoy the outdoors and value community connections, and here is an opportunity for both! The Izaak Walton League invites everyone to join them on hikes in the Casper area on the odd Wednesdays of each month. This is open to all ages and dogs are welcome if they are on a leash. Please come join us and find
others who enjoy hiking in our beautiful outdoors. Be sure to bring drinking water, snacks, good walking shoes or boots, and a jacket. A walking stick or hiking poles can be helpful. Call or text Jennie at 251-3739 or Dan at 251-3741 if you have any questions or if you want to get on our mailing list.
Wednesday, June 2, 6:00 p.m., Hike at Coal Mountain Road, Dirty Shirt Woods: Meet at the NE corner of the parking lot at the West Walmart. We will car pool out to Coal Mountain Road because there isn’t much parking at the trail head. This is on Stacey Scott’s ranch. He is an avid birder so if you want to learn about birds, this will be a good opportunity. This will be a 3 to 4 mile hike depending on how far we go before turning around. Dogs on leash are welcome. Please RSVP by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or to Jennie at 251-3739 or Dan at 251-3741.
The mission of the Izaak Walton League is “To conserve, restore, and promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of our natural resources which include soil, air, woods, waters, and wildlife.” For more information about the Izaak Walton League, contact Dan Cooper at 307-251-3741, email@example.com.
