Come enjoy live music in the beautiful Bart Rea Learning Center at Amoco Park, along the North Platte River with Casper Mountain on the horizon. A great band is in the works – stay tuned! This year’s celebration will honor UU minister Rev. James Reeb, who was tragically killed in Selma, Alabama in 1965 while protesting in support of voting rights. Rev. Reeb answered the call from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to join him in non-violent social action in Selma. Rev. Reeb’s story has been memorialized in the recently completed James Reeb Memorial Mural in downtown Casper. Come celebrate Rev. Reeb’s legacy of service, compassion and peaceful social activism!
