During September, we’ll be reading Riding the Edge of an Era – Growing Up Cowboy on the Outlaw Trail, by Diana Allen Kouris. According to goodreads.com, “In this elegant and illuminating true story, Diana Allen Kouris tells of growing up on the historic Brown’s Park Livestock Ranch, where in the 1800s Butch Cassidy found sanctuary, and nearly a century later her family hosted Robert Redford as he retraced the Outlaw Trail. There, in a remote Green River valley near the “three corners” of Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah, time had slowed, allowing Diana to thrive within the Old West cattle ranching legacy begun by her grandparents.” If you would like to participate, you can pick up a copy of the book at the church. Our discussion will be the last Monday of the month, September 25th, at 6:30 p.m. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
