Topic: Discussion Forums
UU Casper’s Discussion Forums are welcoming, open-minded gatherings where people come together to explore meaningful topics, share diverse perspectives, and learn from one another. Rooted in our Unitarian Universalist commitment to free inquiry and respectful dialogue, these forums create space for thoughtful conversation on a wide range of subjects—spiritual, philosophical, ethical, scientific, cultural, and current events.
Each forum features a presenter or facilitator who introduces the topic, often with a brief talk, reading, or video, followed by open discussion. Participants are encouraged to speak from their own experiences, listen deeply to others, and engage with curiosity rather than debate.
Discussion Forums are not about persuasion or winning arguments—they are about connection, understanding, and expanding our view of the world. Whether you come to share your thoughts or simply to listen and reflect, you will find a supportive space where every voice is valued.
These gatherings are open to all—members, friends, and visitors alike. Together, we practice the art of conversation as a spiritual discipline and a tool for building community.
