The UU Casper Board of Trustees is the elected leadership body responsible for guiding the Unitarian Universalist Community of Casper, WY. Governed by UU Casper’s Bylaws, the Board—which consists of between five and seven Members—serves as the congregational executive authority.

Trustees serve two-year staggered terms, beginning July 1, so that approximately half (up to four) of the trustees are elected each year at the Annual Congregational Meeting.

The Board meets at least every two months, and may call special meetings as needed. Meetings are open to all, though certain sessions may be held in executive session under specific conditions.

Key duties of the Board include oversight of church programs, stewardship of finances and property, establishing policies and procedures, forming committees, goal setting, and ensuring adherence to the congregation’s mission and values.
