Topic: Spiritual Journeys

Spiritual Journeys Sundays at UU Casper are sacred spaces where members and friends of our community are invited to share from the heart about their personal spiritual paths. These special services center lived experience as a source of wisdom—honoring the diverse and unfolding journeys that shape who we are and how we make meaning in the world.

Each Spiritual Journeys service features one or more individuals who reflect on their spiritual upbringing, moments of transformation, struggles with belief or identity, sources of inspiration, or how they’ve come to find a home in Unitarian Universalism. Whether the path has led through a specific religious tradition, through doubt or searching, through nature, activism, art, or recovery, these stories offer depth, insight, and connection.

The tone of these services is reflective, honest, and deeply personal. As listeners, we come with open hearts, honoring the courage it takes to speak one’s truth and recognizing the common threads that unite us across difference.

Spiritual Journeys Sundays embody one of our core beliefs—that revelation is not sealed, and that each person’s experience holds sacred worth. These services strengthen our community by deepening empathy, building trust, and reminding us that we are never alone on the path.

Spiritual Journeys

During this service, four UU Casper members and friends will share their spiritual journeys. Youth programming and childcare are available, and conversation and refreshments follow the service. Everyone is welcome!

“Now that I’m here, what the BLEEP am I going to do about it?” Three of our favorite UUs, Cindy Wright, Elizabeth Otto, and Athne Machdane will share their spiritual journeys and explore this question.
